Meet Ade Adebayo, our Non-Executive Director
Ade is an experienced non-executive director and is currently a member of the boards of Sovereign Network Group and Sutton Housing Partnership. At Accent, he is the chair-designate of the Capital Investment Committee. He also undertakes short-term assignments for local authority property services undergoing major transformational change.
Ade is a chartered surveyor, with over 20 years’ experience as a director, of leading teams delivering complex regeneration projects and asset management services in a number of local authorities. After a few years practicing as a surveyor in the private sector, Ade’s career in the public sector started in 1992 as a project manager in the housing department of London Borough of Greenwich. Ade went on to work for the London Borough of Merton and also Sutton where he retired in 2019. Since then, he has provided turnaround services at Westminster, Dorset and Waltham Forest councils.
He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and holds an MBA from the Open University and a Masters’ degree from the University of Cambridge.
Ade believes that a good quality home that is safe and well maintained should be an attainable aspiration for everyone and is passionate about the role housing organisations can play in making this happen and what he can contribute towards this goal.
