Meet Nici Audhlam-Gardiner, our Non-Executive Director
Nici has an extensive background in retail insurance and banking, with a focus on working with member-owned businesses that share her values and desire to build financial resilience for all. Nici is the Chief Executive of mutual insurer, Foresters Financial, providing investments and advice for everyday families. Prior to Foresters, Nici was Chief Commercial Officer at OneFamily and has held senior roles at other major banking groups and insurers.
Nici is a Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee member of Accent Group and has previously been a non-executive at Catalyst Social Housing Group. She is a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Athletic Ventures, whose purpose is to transform the future and growth of athletics in the UK.
Nici sees a safe place to live, financial wellness and a good education as foundations of a better future for individuals and their families. She is the Chair of the TISA Financial Education Council, supporting a better financial education for young people in the UK. She is a mentor for secondary school students to build their confidence and ambition for a tertiary education through charity IntoUniversity. Nici graduated from Oxford University with a First-Class Degree in Biochemistry and achieved her MBA at Harvard Business School. She has represented Great Britain in Age-Group Triathlon and UK Athletics Masters.
Nici is passionate about using her skills and experience to benefit Accent’s communities and deliver Accent’s social purpose.
