Pets can be wonderful additions to a household. But before we can give permission, we need everyone to fill in a pet request form, which helps us make sure the pet is a good fit for the property you’re in.
Some of the criteria we check in the form include:
- if there are any pet restrictions at your home
- if the pet is likely to cause any nuisance to your neighbours
- if the pet will have access to a garden
If you get a pet without permission, you may be asked to rehome the pet.
Microchips and dogs
Since 2016, it’s been the law that all dogs in England must have a microchip by the time they’re eight weeks old. If you want to keep a dog in one of our homes, you’ll need to show us proof that it has been microchipped.
