Fire Risk Assessments

We carry out fire risk assessments in our blocks and schemes where there are communal areas. This helps us to routinely check for any potential risks and take steps to reduce or eliminate these risks. Some of the things we look at include:

•    Sources of ignition
•    Combustible materials – or anything that can burn
•    Escape routes
•    Fire doors
•    Lighting
•    Fire systems e.g. fire alarms, ventilation, water supplies
•    Emergency arrangements
•    Management of fire safety e.g. routine maintenance
